Man kills ex-wife because child won't let him kiss
A man visited his child at his ex-wife's house. When he kissed his child, she refused because the child said her mother wouldn't let him. Angry, the husband used a knife and scissors to stab his wife to death.
Dau Tieng District Police, Binh Duong Province are detaining Vo Tan Thanh (28 years old, residing in Binh Duong) to investigate the murder. The victim is Ms. Phan Thi Thu Hien (25 years old), Thanh's ex-wife.

According to the investigation, Thanh and Ms. Hien are married but recently divorced, and have a 4-year-old daughter together.
At around 11am on January 1, Thanh went to Ms. Hien's house in Thanh Tuyen commune, Dau Tieng district to visit her child, but Ms. Hien was not at home.
Here, Thanh hugged and kissed his child but the girl pushed him away and refused, saying, "Mom doesn't let me kiss dad."
In the afternoon of the same day, when Ms. Hien returned home, the two sides had a conflict. In a fit of anger, Thanh went to the kitchen, took a knife and slashed Ms. Hien many times. Then, Thanh took scissors and stabbed her repeatedly until she collapsed to the ground, then ran into the rubber plantation and escaped.
Ms. Hien was later discovered by local people and taken to the emergency room but died.
Dau Tieng district police later arrested Thanh while he was hiding at a rubber plantation in An Lap commune, Dau Tieng district.
