Man attacks police to 'rescue' drinking buddy

At around 1:00 p.m. on May 9, at the Nghiem Xuan Yem - Nguyen Huu Tho intersection (Hoang Mai, Hanoi), Traffic Police Team No. 14, Traffic Police Department - Hanoi Police set up a checkpoint to check and handle drivers who were driving under the influence of alcohol.
Discovering two men riding a motorbike with Hanoi license plates showing signs of intoxication, the task force stopped the vehicle for inspection.

The working group drew up a record of administrative violation fine of 3.5 million VND, revoked his driver's license for 4 months and temporarily detained his vehicle for 7 days.
