"After the flood, the Lam River water is receding rapidly, so fish from the upstream districts may have followed the water downstream, so Thanh Chuong people have been able to catch fish continuously" - said a fisherman on the Lam River in Thanh Ha commune.
Eel (also known as eel) is a species that breeds in the sea but migrates from there into freshwater rivers, upstream to streams with stable currents and lives in caves in shallow streams. During the rainy season, they drift to Lam River (Ca River) and can go to sea to breed. This is a very rare specialty, so eel is sought after by many people. Therefore, the number of this fish species is also decreasing significantly in the natural environment.
