People of Tan Ky town actively donate land, remove fences to expand roads
(Baonghean.vn) - To expand and upgrade the inner-city road, 20 households of Block 3, Tan Ky town agreed to donate more than 300 square meters of residential land to the state. It is expected that this road section will be expanded by the District People's Committee this year.

The inner-city road section through Block 3, Tan Ky town, about 500 m long (from the traffic light intersection to Ho Chi Minh road), has been upgraded by the state many years ago. However, recently, the road surface has been damaged and degraded in many places and the road width is narrow, causing difficulties for vehicles participating in traffic.
The Standing Committee of Tan Ky District Party Committee has decided to widen this road by 12 meters and upgrade the road surface to facilitate people's travel.
In order to have land to widen the road, recently, local authorities at all levels have actively encouraged households living on both sides of the road to donate land and assets on the land.

Mr. Dau Truong Son - Chairman of Tan Ky Town People's Committee said that up to now, 20/20 households living on both sides of this road have agreed to donate land and assets on the land for the district to expand and upgrade the road. The total land area donated by the people is over 300 m2 and the assets on the land are over 100 m of solid fence.
It is expected that by October, the District People's Committee will expand and upgrade this road section with a total cost of about 2.5 billion VND, from the local budget, to be completed in 2019./.
