Sea beauty Dao Thi Ha visits and encourages people in flood-hit areas

(Baonghean.vn) - Sea beauty Dao Thi Ha joined Lac Hong Taxi Company and Do Luong District Youth Union to visit, encourage and give over 250 gifts to people in flood-affected areas.

Faced with the extremely heavy losses in the recent floods, Lac Hong Taxi Company coordinated with Do Luong District Youth Union to launch a fundraising movement to support the people of the Central region. With such practical and humane meaning, the movement received the support of many officers and employees of Lac Hong Taxi Company, philanthropists, and union members and youth in Do Luong District.

In just 2 days, the Organizing Committee has raised over 55 million VND. Of which, philanthropists donated nearly 22 million VND, officers and employees of Lac Hong Taxi Company donated over 33.5 million VND, and Miss Sea, Top 5 Miss Vietnam 2016 Dao Thi Ha volunteered to participate and donated 5 million VND.

Dao Thi Ha and more than 40 members of the volunteer group directly gave 257 gifts to people in the flood-hit areas of 4 communes: Huong Thuy, Huong Giang, Loc Yen and Huong Do (Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province). Each gift is worth from 200,000 to 400,000 VND, including cash, rice and clean water.

In addition, the Delegation gave 7 special gifts to households belonging to policy families and those in especially difficult circumstances.

Huong Khe is one of the two districts most severely damaged in Ha Tinh province in the recent floods.
