In Nghia Phuc commune, Tan Ky district, people in some hamlets discussed with each other that before each match of the Vietnam U23 team, each household would contribute a little material to buy pigs, chickens, beer, wine, etc. and join hands to prepare snacks. When the match took place, people in the hamlet gathered at a chosen house, watched football and raised their glasses to cheer.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Vinh (28 years old) in Trung Tam hamlet, Nghia Phuc commune said: "During the Vietnam - Iraq match the other day, the hamlet organized at my house, even made a pig to roast, now for the Vietnam - Qatar match, everyone did it at Mr. Tran Van Ky's house. Each match, the celebration is held at a different house. The atmosphere of watching football here is very joyful. I hope that the Vietnamese team continues to win so that everyone can be happy."

In Nhut land, at Thanh Chuong 3 High School, this afternoon (January 23), the school principal canceled all activities so that teachers and students could watch and cheer for the match between Vietnam and Qatar.

The school delegation is responsible for setting up a large screen right in front of the auditorium, along with a standard sound system and adequate tables and chairs to serve teachers, students in the school and local people in the surrounding area to watch football. By 12 noon today, all preparations for watching the match were completed.

Ms. Anh Thu, owner of a fashion store on Nguyen Van Cu Street, shared: "U23 Vietnam has a chance to advance to the final match, so we don't feel sorry about reducing prices to join the joy of the whole country, even if we lose money, as long as the store and customers are happy."
