62-year-old woman was tied with iron chains, brutally beaten, and forced to borrow more than 100 million VND

Not only did they take the woman to a deserted farm where they beat her, cut her hair, used a chain around her neck and tied her arms like in the "medieval era", Ms. Cao Thi Phuong and her daughter Phan Duy Hang Ry also forced Ms. Dinh Thi Huong to point her finger at a debt paper of 105 million VND to extort her property.

Regarding this incident, the Krong Buk District Police (Dak Lak) said that the unit decided to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain Cao Thi Phuong (58 years old) and her son Phan Duy Hang Ry (25 years old, residing in Lien Hoa village, Cu Kpo commune, Krong Buk district) to continue investigating and clarifying the acts of "Illegal detention" and "Extortion of property".

Previously, the police received information that Ms. Dinh Thi Huong (62 years old) and her daughter, Ms. Le Thi Hien (40 years old, both living in Binh Minh village, Cu Kpo commune) were arrested and beaten by two strangers. Not stopping there, the subjects also forced Ms. Huong to sign a loan paper for 105 million VND.

Immediately after receiving the news, the leaders of Krong Buk District Police directed detectives to go to the scene to investigate and identify the two perpetrators of the incident and arrest Ms. Phuong and her son.

At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed that at around 12 noon on July 9, at Cu Kpo intersection, Ry and her daughter discovered Ms. Huong and her daughter, Ms. Hien, on their way to the market to sell avocados, so they blocked the road and took them to a deserted field.

Here, the two subjects beat her, cut her hair, used a chain around her neck and tied her arms, causing the victim Huong to faint. While the above subjects were not paying attention, Ms. Hien escaped and called for help.

Not stopping there, the mother and son continued to take Mrs. Huong to a deserted plantation on the way to Ea Ngai commune. Mrs. Phuong and her son wrote an IOU, then took ballpoint pen ink and spilled it on their fingers, then forced Mrs. Huong to put her finger on the IOU for 105 million VND.

At 4:30 p.m. the same day, when Ms. Phuong and her son drove Ms. Huong along Highway 14, in the direction of Buon Ho Town - Krong Nang (Dak Lak), they were arrested by the authorities.

After being rescued, Mrs. Huong was taken to Buon Ho General Hospital for treatment and has now been discharged home. However, the victim's spirit is still confused and scared of the horrific incident that happened to her because she cannot forget the "medieval" torture and abuse by Mrs. Phuong and her children.

Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and consolidate records to handle the above two subjects.
