Woman in Vinh city receives maximum fine for alcohol violation
(Baonghean.vn) - With a blood alcohol test result of 0.402 milligrams/1 liter of breath, a woman in Vinh city was fined 35 million VND.
On March 28, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh signed a Decision to sanction administrative violations in the field of road and railway traffic against Ms. PTHM (born in 1982), residing in Hung Binh ward, Vinh city.
The penalty decision clearly stated that Ms. PTHM committed an administrative violation: Driving a car with license plate 37A-89xxx on the road with a breath alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 milligrams/liter of breath (test result 0.402 milligrams/liter of breath).
Accordingly, Ms. PTHM was fined VND 35 million; stipulated in Point a, Clause 10, Article 5 of Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government; Clause 4, Article 23 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations (amended and supplemented in 2020).
At the same time, Ms. PTHM had her Class B1 driving license revoked for 23 months.
