Daughter's lover murdered mother, dumped body in pigsty

After many days of searching, relatives were terrified when they discovered Ms. Ng's body hidden in a sack in the family's pigsty. The suspect was identified as Ms. Ng's daughter's lover.

The victim's house is also where the perpetrator recently stayed.

Vinh Phuc Provincial Police are investigating a serious murder case that occurred in Van Truc Commune, Lap Thach District, Vinh Phuc Province.

Initial information, many days ago, Ms. Ng. (70 years old, residing in Bau Tinh village, Van Truc commune, Lap Thach district) suddenly and mysteriously disappeared.

After that, the family organized a search but could not find her. This morning, people discovered Ms. Ng's body in a sack in the family's pig pen area.

Regarding the above incident, Mr. Nguyen Kim Khoi - Chairman of Van Truc Commune People's Committee said: Vinh Phuc Provincial Police have conducted a crime scene investigation and autopsy to investigate and clarify the incident.

"The person who caused Ms. Ng's death was identified as Tran Xuan Thu (54 years old), a teacher at a local primary school," said Mr. Khoi.

According to Mr. Khoi, after committing the crime, the suspect immediately took the 3-year-old boy (son of Ms. Tran Thi Bich C., granddaughter of Ms. Ng.) and fled, but was later arrested.

Initially, the perpetrator confessed to all his crimes.

Mr. Khoi also added that Tran Xuan Thu had just moved in with Ms. Ng's daughter as husband and wife, and the two had not registered their marriage locally.

The case is currently being further investigated by Vinh Phuc Provincial Police.
