(Baonghean.vn) - Pork prices in Nghe An have not shown any signs of decreasing, remaining high, at 180,000 VND/kg in some places. One of the main reasons is believed to be that many small-scale farmers have not yet restocked their herds after the African swine fever epidemic, leading to a shortage in pork supply.
Native black pigs increase in price sharply

(Baonghean) - This year, due to the scarcity of pork and high prices, although Tet is still more than a month away, many families have been "eagerly" looking to buy black pigs, also known as Man pigs, to eat during Tet.

Absence of traders buying - pork prices are falling sharply

Currently, the price of pigs is falling sharply to near the production cost, fluctuating between 3.8 - 3.9 million VND/quintal, causing many difficulties for farmers.
