Risk of infection from crowded beaches during April 30 holiday

I think the most haunting image of the year was of crematoriums running at full capacity in India. The devastation is unprecedented, with one Indian dying every four minutes fromCovid-19.

Looking back at Vietnam, we see that we are very lucky to have fought the epidemic resolutely. However, at present, the risk of a Covid-19 outbreak returning is at an alarming level if people are negligent and lose vigilance.

Vietnam has detected a patient infected by an Indian expert. Neighboring countries, bordering Cambodia and Thailand, have both been hit hard by Covid-19. This means the risk of the disease spreading from illegal immigrants is very high.

Moreover, the April 30 and May 1 holidays are approaching. As far as I know, hotel rooms in tourist areas are all full, and the airport has been crowded and there is no place to squeeze in for weeks now.

The situation of "sold out" rooms at beach resorts during the holidays will mean people flocking to the beaches. The risk of an epidemic here is higher than ever.

The deserted beach can be isolated, but how can you avoid thousands of people coming here? There are still anti-epidemic forces here using loudspeakers to warn of the epidemic and providing hand sanitizer for visitors. Does anyone wear a mask when going to the beach? I'm afraid not.

The crowded beaches reminded me of the Indian pilgrimage that started the country’s horrific outbreak. On April 27 alone, the number of Covid-19 deaths reached 3,300.

So what is the solution to prevent the epidemic when going to the beach? Should there be a force at each beach to control the number of people coming to the beach to ensure maintaining a safe distance?
