The Prime Minister directed Nghe An and other northern provinces to focus on responding to the risks of floods, landslides and flash floods.

From the night of August 11-15, 2024, heavy rain is forecast to occur in the North, with a high possibility of flooding on rivers and streams, especially a very high risk of flash floods and landslides. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued Official Dispatch No. 78/CD-TTg dated August 11, 2024 requesting ministries, branches and localities to focus on responding to the risk of rain, floods, landslides and flash floods in the North.
