The reason why a painter was hacked to death while drinking water from a neighbor's house

Previously, as reported, at around 8:30 p.m., at the HL phone repair shop, in Thanh Nam hamlet, Dien Hoang commune, Dien Chau district, a murder occurred, leaving one man dead.

Painter was hacked to death on the spot while drinking water in his neighbor's house.

(Baonghean.vn) - The victim suffered a severed carotid artery and died on the way to the emergency room.

The victim was Mr. Hoang Thanh Tra (born in 1980), residing in Thanh Nam hamlet, Dien Hoang commune, Dien Chau district.

According to witnesses, while Mr. Tra was sitting drinking water in front of the HL phone store, four men with knives and swords rushed towards him on two motorbikes. Suddenly, one of them used a knife to slash Mr. Tra many times, cutting his throat and killing him on the spot.

After murdering the victim, seeing the police appear, the group fled the scene.

The suspect in the murder of Tra was identified as Tran Quang Hung (born in 1990), residing in Hamlet 12, Dien My Commune, Dien Chau District. Hung was arrested by the police immediately after committing the crime, when he fled into a cornfield in Dien Hoang Commune.

Mr. Hoang Van Tan, a police officer of Dien Hoang commune, Dien Chau district, said that during his business dealings, Mr. Hoang Thanh Tra owed Tran Van Hung 1 million VND, but had not yet had the money to pay.

At around 7:00 p.m. on January 22, Mr. Tra and his cousin went to Dien My commune, Dien Chau district to hold a ward meeting (a form in which many people contribute money to one person and take turns receiving it to do business).

After the meeting, Mr. Tra and his ward group organized a party. About 10 minutes into the meal, Hung and a group of men from Dien My commune called Mr. Tra out to talk and a fight broke out, but was stopped by everyone.

After that, Tra's brothers rode their motorbike home. On the way home, they stopped at the HL phone repair shop to drink tea. Hung slashed them many times, including one that severed their throat and killed them on the spot.
