Former Deputy District Civil Judgment Enforcement Officer was arrested

Authorities prosecuted and temporarily detained Mr. Ngan, former Deputy Head of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Office of Buon Don District, Dak Lak, for the crime of lack of responsibility causing serious consequences.

On May 23, the Supreme People's Procuracy's Investigation Agency announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Mr. Dang Van Ngan (54 years old, residing in Tan An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province), former Deputy Head of the Buon Don Civil Judgment Enforcement Office, Dak Lak, for the crime of lack of responsibility causing serious consequences.

According to initial information, in the process of organizing the execution of 6 judgments and decisions of the People's Court of Dak Lak province and the People's Court of Buon Ma Thuot city related to the debt repayment obligation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (residing in Buon Ma Thuot city) to 7 individuals in the amount of 7 billion VND, Mr. Ngan did not fulfill his responsibilities and did not carry out the seizure of Ms. Nhung's assets, leading to her dissipating part of the assets.

As a result, the seven individuals were not executed according to the content of the judgments that have come into legal effect. Currently, Mr. Ngan is still being examined by the authorities for making illegal decisions.
