According to the Investigation Agency, in order to carry out procedures quickly before the prescribed deadline for land use conversion and land plot division records in Gia Nghia City, the Deputy Director and staff received money from dozens of people.
On the afternoon of October 31, information from the Investigation Police Agency of Gia Nghia City Police, Dak Nong Province said that the unit had served the decision to prosecute the accused and the temporary detention order against Nguyen Van Hoa (officer of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Gia Nghia City) to investigate and clarify the act of "Receiving bribes".
This is a case related to "Receiving bribes" that the Gia Nghia City Police Department is expanding and investigating, occurring at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Gia Nghia City.

Previously, on October 20, the Gia Nghia City Police Department also arrested Mr. Bui Van Dang (Deputy Director of the Gia Nghia City Land Registration Office) in an emergency to investigate the act of "Take bribes”.
According to the Investigation Agency, from June 2021 to present, Mr. Bui Van Dang has received 70 million VND from people to carry out quick procedures ahead of schedule according to regulations for land use conversion and land plot division records in Gia Nghia city.
In particular, for each file to be processed quickly, people must pay at least 5 million VND/file, the highest is 35 million VND/file. As for the amount of money that Nguyen Van Hoa received, the Investigation Agency is still clarifying so it cannot provide information yet.
