(Baonghean.vn) - A 2-year-old boy was playing ball alone near the Phen stream. When the ball fell into the stream, the boy went down to pick it up, but unfortunately was swept away by the water about 20 meters. About 20 minutes later, people discovered him but he was dead.
On the afternoon of November 13, Ms. Lo Thi Hoan - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Don Phuc Commune (Con Cuong District - Nghe An) said that the leaders of Con Cuong District and departments and organizations, along with the leaders of Don Phuc Commune, came to encourage and visit the family of the child in the commune who had just died from drowning.

The unfortunate boy who tragically drowned was Luong Manh H., over 2 years old, son of Mr. Luong Van Phang and Ms. Vi Thi Ngoc in Hong Thang village, Don Phuc commune, Con Cuong district.
H. lives with his grandparents near Khe Phen because his parents are working far away. At around 1:30 p.m. on November 12, Hong Thang villagers discovered the boy drowning in Khe Phen.

According to information from H.'s family, H. was playing ball alone near Khe Phen. The ball fell into the stream and he ran to get it, but unfortunately, he was swept away by the water for about 20 meters. After about 20 minutes, people in Hong Thang village discovered H. being swept away by the water. Everyone rescued him, but he died.
It is known that H's family is near-poor.
