Many scholarship opportunities to study abroad in the Russian Federation for Nghe An students
On the afternoon of December 16, the Department of Education and Training organized the 2025 Russian Federation Scholarship Consulting and Recruitment Program.
The program is carried out online, connecting the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, Russian universities and 12 high schools across the province.
Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Khoa recalled the solidarity, close relationship and tradition that has existed for many years between Vietnam and the Russian Federation. In particular, over the years, many generations of Vietnamese students have studied in Russia and succeeded in many different fields.

Studying abroad is also a trend that many Nghe An students are choosing in recent years. Therefore, through this program, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training hope that Nghe An students will have more information channels about future career orientation.
The Department of Education and Training is ready to create all conditions and support connections to help students have more opportunities to find information or apply to study abroad.
At the consultation and recruitment session for Russian federal scholarships, Ms. Mai Nguyen Tuyet Hoa - First Secretary, in charge of the education department, Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation also provided Nghe An students with information about the training programs and scholarship policies of the Russian and Vietnamese governments. This is a country with a long history of training with about 600 public universities. In particular, the main strengths belong to the fields of basic sciences, applied sciences, mechanical engineering, medicine, arts and even new fields of study such as information technology, nano, energy, etc.
Students receiving scholarships from the Government of the Russian Federation include tuition exemption for the duration of their studies, monthly scholarships and accommodation in dormitories at costs determined by the Government of the Russian Federation.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese Government's scholarship includes round-trip airfare, travel expenses, passport and visa fees, health insurance and monthly living allowance according to the regulations of the Vietnamese Government for students studying under the Agreement scholarship in the Russian Federation.
At the moment, there are about 5,000 students studying in Russia with training programs from undergraduate to doctoral level and the majority of students are studying in Russia on a scholarship.Russian Government Scholarship, the Government of Vietnam or two governments at the same level.
Currently, Vietnam is the second country after Belarus to receive the most scholarships from the Russian government for students, with about 1,000 scholarships/year for undergraduate, master's, doctoral, specialized internship and Russian language degrees.

In this program, some universities in Russia also introduced training majors, professions, scholarship policies, training time for each level, scholarship regime; subjects, conditions and application documents; commitments to complete the scholarship program for international students, foreign language requirements; instructions on procedures for submitting preliminary application documents; registration deadline and specific admission process.
In addition, representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation and universities also directly exchanged, discussed and answered questions about scholarship programs in the Russian Federation, life and study of Vietnamese students in the Russian Federation, and job opportunities after graduation.
