(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the call of the Provincial Party Secretary, on January 20 and 21, many agencies, localities and units organized to give Tet gifts to poor households and policy beneficiaries in the province.

Provincial Red Cross Society gives Tet gifts in Quy Hop

On the afternoon of January 21, the Provincial Red Cross Association visited and presented 22 Tet gifts to encourage the spirit of disadvantaged people in Chau Thanh commune (Quy Hop); each gift is worth 500,000 VND (including cash and gifts).

On this occasion, the Red Cross Society of Quy Hop district also presented 40 Tet gifts to poor households, families with special difficulties, and lonely elderly people in the district, with a total value of 20 million VND.

This is a practical activity demonstrating the tradition of "mutual love", contributing to caring for and helping the poor in the district to have a happier, warmer and more complete Tet.

In 2 communes, district leaders presented gifts from the district Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee to parishioners in difficult circumstances, each commune received 20 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND). Of which, Tru Son commune received 20 gifts, Dai Son commune received 20 gifts.

On this occasion, representatives of Do Luong district leaders wished the parishioners a warm and happy Dinh Dau New Year; showing the concern of all levels and sectors for parishioners in difficult circumstances.

Giving Tet gifts to the poor in Nghia Dan

On January 21, representatives of Muong Thanh Group and Thang Loi Joint Stock Company coordinated with the district Fatherland Front Committee to give Tet gifts to the poor in Nghia Lien and Nghia Dan communes.

On this occasion, Muong Thanh Group and Thang Loi Joint Stock Company presented 15 meals and 70 gifts (each gift worth 500,000 VND) to poor families in especially difficult circumstances; the total value of the gifts was 43 million VND, taken from the contribution of the staff and employees of Thang Loi Joint Stock Company and Muong Thanh Group.
