Many teachers in Nghe An are willing to teach free exam preparation to final year students.
For the sake of students and the quality of the school, many teachers in schools in Nghe An have voluntarily registered to open free extra classes and review classes for final year students...
Free exam preparation classes
“I have voluntarily registered to teach 20 free extra sessions for students in grades 9A and 9B. However, this is only the minimum number based on the school's opinion. I think that at the "acceleration" time, the number of teaching sessions will be more and I am completely comfortable accompanying students in this "sprint" stage." That is the sharing of Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huyen - English teacher, Bach Lieu Secondary School (Yen Thanh district), 1 of 6 teachers who are volunteering to teach exam review for students in the afternoon.
According to Ms. Huyen, the number of review sessions compared to previous years is only more than half, but this is valuable time to accompany students.

“The special feature of our school is that students mainly take exams to enter specialized schools or aim to pass selective classes at public schools, so they are very worried about the entrance exam to grade 10.
In the past, in addition to regular classes, many students registered for extra classes outside. However, registration is now difficult because many teachers are their main teachers.
In recent days, I have seen parents and students very worried and hope that the school will continue to maintain free extra classes to help families somewhat relieve pressure."

In addition to registering for free tutoring, Ms. Huyen said that teaching in class with 9th graders needs to be adjusted: “This year, my students set a target of 8 - 8.5 points or higher for English. Through studying the new reference exam questions of the Department of Education and Training, I see that this year's exam has many changes. Previously, the questions were more grammar-oriented, short questions, and students who worked hard for a few months could get a score of 7. But now, the exam tests more on vocabulary and reading comprehension, requires good knowledge, test-taking skills, and takes time to accumulate. To support students, in addition to afternoon tutoring, I have to change the morning lectures, shorten some content to spend time guiding students to practice and get familiar with the new exam structure."

More than a week afterCircular 29In effect, many schools have planned free tutoring and extra classes. At Bach Lieu Secondary School, the school has announced the exam review schedule for final year students to parents and students with the aim of "sharing and helping" and with all "love and responsibility".
Teacher Nguyen Phuc Loc - Principal of the school said: To prepare for the 10th grade entrance exam, teachers of Literature, Math, and English have volunteered to teach 102 extra sessions for students. Although this is only a temporary solution, I hope it will help students get through the exam period which is very close.
Last weekend, Anh Son Secondary School (Anh Son) also held a school-wide parent conference to promote Circular 29, and announced the maintenance of free tutoring classes for excellent students in grades 6, 7, and 8 and free exam review for grade 9.
Mr. Nguyen Hao Huu Quang - Principal of the school emphasized: In the upcoming 10th grade entrance exam, the school registered to be in the top 10 secondary schools with the highest exam scores in the province. This is a big responsibility and if we do not make an effort, it will be difficult to reach the finish line successfully. After Circular 29 was implemented, teachers, parents and students were all concerned, we always try our best and dedicate ourselves to our students to ensure continuity in teaching and learning.
Previously, to encourage parents and students, Mr. Quang also sent an open letter emphasizing the role of autonomy and self-study to acquire knowledge.
"What makes you better and go further is your attitude of constantly learning, your ability to find answers yourself, your proactive learning and your desire to explore. The school and teachers always accompany you."

“12th grade students - Dien Chau 5 who wish to review for the History graduation exam, please join the Zalo group below, the teacher will teach for free. Study location: At school in suitable afternoons; Number of students: 40 - 50...”.
After the announcement on his personal page, the free History review class of Mr. Thai Ba Quy - a teacher at Dien Chau 5 High School was full. Under his post, there were many comments: "I want a spot, teacher", "I haven't studied History for so long, I've forgotten", "This is great, teacher"... Sharing about this, Mr. Quy said: I am both a History teacher and a Youth Union Secretary. Therefore, opening a class for students is entirely out of responsibility for the profession and not for any other purpose.

Mr. Quy also said that he did not organize free tutoring classes until Circular 29 took effect. Previously, in previous school years, in addition to teaching at school according to the schedule, every week from 5-7 pm, he still opened free tutoring classes to help students review for the 12th grade exam.
"This year, our school has 280/490 students registering for the optional subject History. The nature of this subject is that if students do not study it at school, they will not be able to find extra classes outside. Therefore, I opened a class to accompany them in the final stages of their school years," Mr. Quy shared.
In preparation for the review classes, Mr. Quy also said that there were difficulties as this was the first exam to be conducted according to the 2018 General Education Program. He himself did not teach grade 12 this year, so he had to systematize and review all knowledge and get used to the new exam and question format: I am not too worried about the source of questions because I have the support of my colleagues. In the immediate future, during the review process, I will closely follow the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program and closely follow the reference exam questions to practice questions for students.

According to the plan, to facilitate students' exam preparation, teacher Thai Ba Quy will borrow a classroom at the school to organize a review session for students every 2 weeks. In case more students register, he will open another class.
Along with Mr. Quy, from this week, Dien Chau 5 High School will also plan to review exams for final year students with many subjects such as Literature, Math, History, Geography, Chemistry... Teachers who are teaching grade 12 in the school will also have their teaching schedule rearranged at school to have more time to accompany final year students according to the instructions of the Department of Education and Training.
