Many activities towards War Invalids and Martyrs Day

* On the morning of July 25, leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, agencies, departments, branches, unions and units in the districtNghia Dancame to offer flowers and incense at the District Martyrs Cemetery in Dong Tien hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune.
In a solemn atmosphere, leaders of Nghia Dan district conducted flower and incense offering ceremonies to commemorate the heroic martyrs who did not spare their blood and bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vo Thi Sau in Hamlet 2, Nghia An Commune; the family of Mr. Thai Doan Van, a subject infected with toxic chemicals in Nam Thang Hamlet, Nghia Long Commune; the family of Mr. Dao Van Thang, a 1/4 disabled soldier in Song Lim Hamlet, Nghia Loc Commune and the family of Ms. Cao Thi Nhan, mother of a martyr in Binh Minh Hamlet, Nghia Loc Commune. At the places visited, the delegation presented gifts including cash and in-kind, worth 1.5 million VND.

The delegation also presented two gifts from the province to the family of Mr. Cao Xuan Hai, a 1/4 disabled veteran in Bau hamlet, Nghia Khanh commune and the family of Mr. Phan Van Tin, a 1/4 disabled veteran in Dong Dai hamlet, Nghia Khanh commune. Each gift is worth 2 million VND.

On this occasion,Nghia Dan District Youth UnionCoordinated with 25 commune and town delegations and affiliated youth unions to organize delegations to visit, give gifts and encourage 57 families of war invalids, martyrs, and policy families in the district, each gift worth from 200,000 to 300,000 VND.

* InQuy ChauThe District Party Committee's Youth Union visited and presented 4 gifts to 4 policy households in Chau Nga commune, each gift worth 450,000 VND.
The Military Command of Quy Chau district also paid one-time allowances to 88 beneficiaries under Decision No. 49/2015/QD-TTg dated October 14, 2015 of the Prime Minister, with an amount of 185 million 200 thousand VND; 01 beneficiary under Decision No. 62, with an amount of 3.6 million VND.

At the program, in addition to organizing games for youth union members, the Organizing Committee raised nearly 10 million VND to repair and install new light bulbs and electrical wires for policy households and those with revolutionary contributions in Con Cuong district.
