(Baonghean.vn) - On May 30, many levels, sectors and units organized practical activities to support disadvantaged students and poor households in the area.

Quy Hop District Fatherland Front Committeepresented 35 million VND in support of collapsed houses and relief for some families with children who drowned or were sick in Chau Tien, Chau Quang, Tam Hop, and Dong Hop communes.

With the aid money from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Hop district, it helps poor families restore their homes and reduce their painful losses to move forward in life.

Ky Son District Fatherland Front Committeealong with representatives of the Party Committee and the government of Huu Kiem commune visited and presented 6 local breeding cows to 6 families in Na Chao village, Huu Kiem commune, these are poor households with very difficult lives. It is known that the value of each breeding cow is 10 million VND from the "Poor People's Fund" of Nghe An province.

On this occasion,Hanoi General HospitalThe organization awarded 20 scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties and 4,040 notebooks to students of Binh Son Secondary School, with a total gift value of 31 million VND.

* Nam Can Border Guard Station Youth Union(Nghe An) coordinated with the Ky Son District Police Department and the Hanoi National University of Education to implement the program "Smiles on the high path" in Nam Can village, Nam Can commune.

Nam Can is a village with 100% Mong ethnic people, the lives of households here are still difficult and deprived.

The program presented 70 gifts (each worth 200,000 VND) including necessities for living to poor households in border areas with a total value of 14 million VND.

* People's Committee of Quy Hop districtorganized the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children 2019 with the theme "Joining hands for poor children and ethnic minority children", to strengthen and further enhance the awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors, agencies, units, families and the children themselves in implementing the Law on Children and preventing violence and child sexual abuse.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee, the Association for the Support of Disabled and Orphans of Quy Hop, the District Youth Union and the People's Committee of Chau Hong commune presented 25 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties in Chau Hong commune, worth more than 11 million VND. On this occasion, the three brothers Luong Van Thanh, Luong Van Cong and Luong Binh Anh, orphans in Chau Hong commune, received nearly 75 million VND from benefactors.

* Previously,Minh Hop commune, organized the giving of 80 gifts to disabled children and children in especially difficult circumstances in the commune on the occasion of the Action Month for Children in 2019. The total value of the gifts is 24 million VND. This amount was collected by Minh Hop commune from benefactors and businesses located in the commune.

Here, medical staff and doctors from Vinh International Hospital provided general and in-depth examinations of ear, nose and throat diseases and eye diseases for everyone. In the morning, they examined 500 people and provided free medicine supported by the Hanoi Charity Fund for sick cases, with a total value of 60 million VND.

* Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans of Vinh Cityand the Steering Committee for Poverty Reduction of Trung Do Ward and Hung Hoa Commune organized financial support for house repairs and livelihoods for people with disabilities.

At block 5, Trung Do ward, the delegation gave 15 million VND to support Ms. Le Thi Hoa's family to repair a level 4 house. The house has an area of ​​20m2.2, with a total cost of over 20 million VND.

In Hung Hoa commune, Mr. Chu Huy Cam's family in Phong Hao hamlet was given livelihood support of a breeding cow under the 50/50 support program. This is the concern and encouragement of the community and society to help people with disabilities overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
