The Provincial Federation of Labor has just successfully organizedCommendation ceremony95 exemplary grassroots union officials in 2024 in Hai Phong. The commendation activities are also being implemented at all levels of Nghe An Trade Union throughout the province. This is one of the key activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Right from the beginning of the year, to build a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Provincial Labor Federation organized many forums to gather initiatives and comments from core union officials.

Based on reality, these activities are built with the requirement of being widely deployed from the province to the grassroots, creating a strong impression and influence, bringing benefits to union members and workers. At the same time, they must be focused, key, creative, practical, effective, economical, and suitable to the actual conditions of the industry, locality, and unit.

Not only does it have the meaning of spreading widely among union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and the whole society about the glorious tradition of 95 years of Vietnam Trade Union and of the Vietnamese working class, the series of activities also affirms the role, functions, tasks and great contributions of the Vietnam Trade Union organization in nearly a century of formation and development, contributing to consolidating and fostering the trust of union members and laborers in the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

This is also an opportunity to contribute to creating unity in the organization, consensus among cadres, union members and workers to effectively implement the goals, targets and breakthroughs of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, the 19th Nghe An Provincial Trade Union Congress, the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, and the key tasks of Nghe An Provincial Trade Union and Vietnam Trade Union in 2024.

Accordingly, Nghe An Trade Union has deployed and propagated for union members and workers to participate in the Contest "Resolution of Trade Union Congress and actions of union members and workers" and learning about the 95-year tradition of Vietnam Trade Union is the first activity.

Identifying the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots unions as vital tasks, the Provincial Federation of Labor has requested unions at all levels to implement the "Peak month of admitting union members and establishing grassroots unions", and at the same time admit union members for the 95th year.Vietnam Youth Union. At the same time, discover and introduce outstanding members for the Party to consider training and admission.

In addition, launch and widely deploy emulation movements, campaigns, promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve labor productivity; organize seminars, talks, thematic activities, traditional meetings of generations of union officials; visit, give gifts, help union members and workers in difficult circumstances, support the construction and donation of "Union Shelter" houses, dialogue, collective bargaining...

The activities to honor, commend, and show gratitude to exemplary union officials, union members, and workers with achievements, initiatives, and creativity in labor, production, and in building the working class and trade union organization can be considered the highlight of the series of activities.

From there, select and propose typical examples for the General Confederation to award the Nguyen Van Linh Award, commend the Chairmen of the grassroots trade unions, exemplary national trade unions, commend key female leaders of provincial trade unions and exemplary grassroots female workers on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Women's Union and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, commend exemplary workers who are party members in the grassroots trade unions of enterprises...

At the provincial level, up to this point, 2 out of 6 specific activities have been organized. In particular, the compilation of the book History of the workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in Nghe An province in the period 2006 - 2023 (Volume V) has received much attention and comments from the trade union staff in terms of content, layout, title, presentation, events, characters... The book will be a valuable resource for the trade union staff in their activities with a lot of experience from emulation movements and lessons learned throughout the periods.

The conference to honor 95 outstanding grassroots trade union officials in 2024 and the program to study and exchange trade union experience models from July 12-14, 2024 in Thai Binh, Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa were a great success, a timely and respectful recognition of the grassroots trade union officials.

Although considered a difficult activity, the program "Union Meal" is determined to be implemented by all levels of Nghe An Trade Union, focusing on grassroots trade unions. The program's peak is expected to be on July 26 and will be organized simultaneously throughout the province.

With careful and dedicated preparation, the 2024 Workers', Civil Servants', and Laborers' Singing Festival; the installation of welcome signs and the upcoming 95th anniversary talk show promise to create positive propaganda effects among union members and workers.

This criterion is being realized by the staff of Nghe An Trade Union in every activity celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union.

With a large number of union members and workers, the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union has specified a series of activities with 12 contents aimed at workers. For example, visiting, giving gifts, helping union officials who suffered from work accidents and occupational diseases; organizing the "Free oil change" program for 1,800 workers and employees of 3 enterprises in VSIP Industrial Park; organizing the traditional sports tournament of the Southeast Economic Zone; praising grassroots union officials and exemplary workers; Simultaneously implementing mid-break exercise activities for workers and employees; focusing on directing grassroots trade unions to coordinate dialogues and conferences of workers in enterprises...

In addition to the activities implemented by superiors, Vinh City Labor Federation also organizes free swimming classes for union members' children; organizes the "Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Cadre" Contest; commends excellent grassroots trade union cadres... In particular, the "Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Cadre" Contest with both online and in-person competitions promises to create novelty and spread widely.

In Yen Thanh district, surface-level mass activities have been launched since April. With folk dance competitions, art performances, sports competitions, etc., the Yen Thanh District Labor Federation has created excitement among union members and workers. In Thanh Chuong district, in addition to activities following the province's direction, the District Union also provided funding for the Thanh Linh Commune Union to build solar-powered lighting lines, improving the quality of life for the people...

Mr. Dang Van Hai - Chairman of the Education Trade Union said: “The highlight of the activities of the Education Trade Union is the emulation movement "90 days of determination to achieve high results in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam". This new movement has truly created a spread and influence of the event celebrating the 95th anniversary of the tradition in grassroots trade unions. In addition, we also organized to commend cadres, teachers, and workers of non-public units following Uncle Ho's words in 2024; commend excellent orphaned students who are children of teachers; meet and express gratitude to cadres of the Education Trade Union through the periods...".

Considered one of the active and dynamic units with many practical and widespread programs since the beginning of the year, Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union has built a series of activities on 7 contents. Specifically, commending exemplary grassroots trade union officials and exemplary civil servants, public employees and workers in the period of 2019-2023; awarding the "For the cause of building the Trade Union organization" Medal; cultural exchange; Meeting with former leaders of the Trade Union, full-time Trade Union officials, members of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union through the periods; Gala dinner; "Trade Union meal"...
