On the evening of December 26, while traveling by motorbike from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Duong, Thien Loc saw a large puddle of water ahead, he braked his motorbike suddenly and turned to the left to avoid it, causing him to fall onto the road. At this time, the container truck behind him came up, could not avoid it in time and crashed into him, causing the actor to die on the spot.

His friends said that after his death, the actor was taken to Phap Thuong Pagoda in Phu Dong Commune, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province. The cremation ceremony was held on the morning of December 29 at the Funeral Home in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

Singers Chinh Ngon and Gia Khang

It is known that Thien Loc (real name Nguyen Van Toan) was born in 1993, in Vung Tau. He graduated from class K37 of the University of Theatre and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks to his warm voice, Thien Loc once worked as an announcer at the Radio and Television station of Vung Tau province.

The news that ATA band member Chinh Ngon and his friend Gia Khang passed away in a traffic accident on the evening of December 16th shocked fans.

Responding to VietNamNet about the above accident, Phu Rieng Commune Police said that at around 7:30 p.m. on December 16, the two victims, Nguyen Chinh Ngon (32 years old, residing in Ward 17, Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City) and Lam Gia Khang (26 years old, residing in Duc Hanh, Bu Gia Map, Binh Phuoc) were driving a motorbike, carrying each other on DT.741 road, from Phuoc Long town to Ho Chi Minh City and crashed straight into the back of a truck parked on the right side of the road in front (on the road through Phu Thinh quarter, Phu Rieng commune, Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province).

It is known that Chinh Ngon was active in the ATA music group around the end of 2011 and the group disbanded a while before the male singer passed away. However, Chinh Ngon still occasionally performed at some events with Gia Khang. Due to the strong collision, Chinh Ngon and Gia Khang suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. The car used by both of them was crushed in the front.

Street violinist Do Ba Ly

On the morning of July 28, Mr. Do Ba Ly was on his way to the Le Hong Phong – Nguyen Binh Khiem area (near Big C supermarket) to play the violin as usual. At 11:45, while being taken home by a motorbike taxi driver (in the direction of Big C – Lach Tray), a traffic accident occurred.

According to information from Ngo Quyen District Police, the motorbike taxi carrying Mr. Do Ba Ly collided with a container truck traveling in the same direction. The collision caused Mr. Ly to fall onto the road and die. The person driving him was seriously injured and had to be hospitalized.

Mr. Ly was originally a musician of the Hai Duong Opera Troupe. Since 2013, he has been making a living at intersections and parks with his violin. Since then, Hai Phong people have called him a "street artist". Despite his difficult and miserable circumstances, Mr. Ly has not given up his passion for music.
