Remember Uncle Ho's teachings: Mass mobilization must be skillful.
(Baonghean.vn) - In the process of finding a way to save the country, liberate the nation, and gain independence and freedom for the people, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to mass mobilization work. He pointed out that the masses are the subject of the revolution, the decisive factor in all victories of the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.
The essence of mass mobilization work is to build a close relationship between the Party and the people. The people are the source of strength, the invincible force of the Party to overcome all difficulties, to defeat all enemies and complete the revolutionary cause, to build and protect the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
In the article “Mass Mobilization” in 1949, Uncle Ho clearly stated what Mass Mobilization is? “Mass Mobilization is mobilizing all the forces of each citizen, leaving no citizen behind, contributing to the entire people's force, to carry out the work that should be done, the work assigned by the Government and organizations”.

Mass mobilization is to promote the heroic revolutionary tradition of the nation, to promote the intelligence of the entire people, to listen to the people, to discuss with the people, to respect the people, to learn from the people's experiences and to build plans for each task to suit the specific conditions and circumstances of each locality and base to achieve practical results.
Uncle Ho requested: All cadres and party members in all Party organizations, governments, the Fatherland Front and people's organizations from the central to local levels and grassroots levels must do mass mobilization work according to their professional duties.
Studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings throughout the revolutionary process, our Party has done a good job of mass mobilization, leading our country to overcome all difficulties and challenges, gaining victory after victory.
Reality shows that wherever and whenever mass mobilization work is done well, the masses can be gathered, actively participate, and achieve comprehensive and solid results. On the contrary, wherever mass mobilization work is taken lightly, cadres are distant from the masses, are bureaucratic, authoritarian, irresponsible, unethical, do not listen, respect, and do not care about the thoughts, aspirations, and interests of the masses, it will be very difficult to properly implement and bring the Party and State's policies, guidelines, and laws to the people, and it will be impossible to achieve high results.

If there is someone among us who, even though he has memorized every sentence and every word of the Party's guidelines, policies, and resolutions, but does not know how to approach the masses, does not do a good job of explaining, propagating, and mobilizing the people, does not have practical work for the people's lives, and does not make the people believe and understand, then that person is still unfamiliar with the ideology and viewpoint of mass mobilization that Uncle Ho taught.
Uncle Ho and our Party always remind us: The country takes the people as its foundation, the people take life as its top priority, our regime is a regime of the people, by the people. The people follow the Party to rise up to fight the enemy and seize power. All levels of government and organizations from the central to local levels are elected by the people. Therefore, each cadre must serve the people wholeheartedly to bring a prosperous and happy life to the people.

Our Party has issued a resolution on mass mobilization work, setting forth the motto “People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect”. If this motto is well implemented, it means practically studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and morality. What Uncle Ho taught in the article “Mass Mobilization” in October 1949 affirms the nature of our regime. Following Uncle Ho’s teachings correctly is bringing happiness to the people. That is the standard of loyalty to the regime, to the Party, to Uncle Ho, to the Fatherland and the nation.
In order for each cadre and party member to truly be worthy of being a leader and a loyal servant of the people, it is necessary for each person to regularly study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings: If the mass mobilization is poor, everything will be poor; if the mass mobilization is skillful, everything will be successful. Those views of President Ho Chi Minh are truly the ideological and theoretical foundation that our Party has absorbed and applied throughout the process of leading the revolution and are the direction of our Party's efforts in the current period.
