A group of reckless young men chased and blocked a car on National Highway 1A.

On the morning of February 23, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Thanh - Head of Dien Chau District Police, Nghe An said that regarding the incident in which a car driver reported that a group of young men chased, threatened, and vandalized his car on the evening of the second day of Tet, the unit is still investigating and verifying.
“We are currently verifying the incident based on information and images provided by the driver. The identities of the young men in the clip are still being identified and verified,” Lieutenant Colonel Thanh added.
Previously, the otofun forum was abuzz with information posted by a PH account about a family incident while traveling on National Highway 1A, through Dien Chau district, Nghe An.
According to the account owner, on the evening of February 17 (the second day of Tet), the whole family got in a car from Hanoi to Ha Tinh. At around 9:10 p.m., when they reached Dien Chau district, suddenly a group of 3 young men, without helmets, riding a motorbike (according to information from the dash cam, this motorbike has the license plate 37H1 - 5.....4) overtook, weaving and swerving in front of the car.
The young men on the motorbike turned around, pointed threateningly at the driver, and signaled the car to stop. At first, the people in the car thought the group of young men were drunk and just joking around. However, the group continued to hover in front of the car for many kilometers and showed no signs of letting up.
According to the clip cut from the dash cam, this group of young men continued to follow, loudly cursing the driver, and forcing him to stop the car.
The woman sitting in the car kept calling the 113 Police force for help in a panic and anxiety. In the car, the sound of children crying, the woman's voice trembled, continuing to call for help.
Too scared, the driver stepped on the gas, driving at 100km/h in an attempt to lose the group of young men. However, according to the account owner, the group of young men continued to speed up and chase them, even calling for help.
According to the information reported by the above account, the subjects then deliberately crashed into the motorbike, staging an accident to force the car to stop. When the car stopped, the subjects immediately used bricks and stones to smash the car, breaking the left rearview mirror and denting the front of the car.
PH account added that at around 9:40 p.m. the same day, when the group of young men were smashing the car, the police arrived. The group of young men quickly jumped on a motorbike and escaped. Afterwards, the whole family went to Dien Chau District Police to report the incident and provided images taken from the dash cam.
After the information was posted on Facebook, it received thousands of comments and shares from the online community. Most of the comments expressed outrage and hoped that the police would soon find the other group and strictly handle them according to the law.
