(Baonghean.vn) - The Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has just broken up a dog-stealing gang consisting of 4 people residing in Yen Thanh District, seizing many dangerous weapons.

At 9:00 p.m. on September 8, 2016, while on duty in the area of ​​hamlet 19, Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An province discovered two suspects riding a SIRIUS motorbike, license plate 37P3-7195, with an iron cage for holding dogs and an electric generator tied to the vehicle, turning into the house of Nguyen Van Tiep (born in 1980).

The task force raided Nguyen Van Tiep's house and caught 4 subjects in the act of buying and selling dogs. At Tiep's house, the police force seized 5 dogs in iron cages, 2 electric generators (including a battery, a transformer attached to a 1.2m long rod with a noose), 2 90cm long swords, 1 iron tip about 1m long, 1 150kg scale, 1 battery charger. The task force made a record and took the subjects and the evidence to the police station for clarification.

At the police station, the suspects declared their names as Nguyen Duy Trung (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 3, Tang Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District; Hoang Dinh Nghia (1993), residing in Van Thanh Hamlet, Long Thanh, Yen Thanh District; and Tran Dinh Thanh (1992), residing in Tay Ho Hamlet, Nam Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District. They often went to Nguyen Van Tiep's house to get tools such as dirty clothes, electric shocks, and iron tips to steal dogs in Yen Thanh District to sell to Tiep.

Dogs were stolen by criminals.
