Armenian Ambassador to Vietnam Vahram Kazhoyan (who began his term in Vietnam in 2019) said that President Ho Chi Minh visited Armenia in July 1959 when the country was still a member republic of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (abbreviated as the Soviet Union).
Ambassador Kazhoyan said that this historic visit laid the foundation for the friendly relations between Armenia and Vietnam in the future.
