The pregnant woman, Nguyen Thi Huy (26 years old, from Do Luong district), is a teacher in Ho Chi Minh City. More than half a month ago, Ms. Huy returned to her hometown to wait for the birth. Last night, she still showed no signs of labor and still went out to celebrate Tet with her husband. But right after the New Year's Eve moment, she had a stomachache and was taken to Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital by her family. Not long after, she gave birth to a baby boy weighing 2.9kg. Both mother and baby were healthy after birth. Photo: Hoang Yen |
