Which entities are responsible to the State for land use from July 1, 2024?

Reply: According to Article 6 of the 2024 Land Law, the person responsible to the State for land use is:
1. Legal representative of domestic organizations, economic organizations with foreign investment capital; head of foreign organizations with diplomatic functions regarding land use of their organizations.
2. The Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level is responsible for the use of agricultural land for public purposes; non-agricultural land assigned to the People's Committee at the commune level for the purpose of building the People's Committee headquarters, public works serving cultural, educational, medical, physical training, sports, entertainment, markets, cemeteries and other public works of the commune, ward or town; religious land and belief land that has not been assigned for management and use.
3. The representative of the residential community is the head of the village, hamlet, village, hamlet, village, hamlet, neighborhood group and similar residential area or the person agreed upon by the residential community.
4. Representative of religious organization, affiliated religious organization regarding land use of religious organization, affiliated religious organization.
5. Individuals, people of Vietnamese origin residing abroad regarding their land use.
6. A person with common land use rights or a representative of a group of people with common land use rights regarding the use of that land.
