Going deaf after kissing, losing your sight during sex, breaking your finger because of a bra are some of the weird accidents caused by sex.

Sex is an exciting experience, but sometimes it can lead to unforeseen incidents. Here are five bizarre sex accidents listed by the New York Post.

Deafening Kiss

In 2008, BBC reported that a 20-year-old woman in Guangdong (China) was hospitalized due to sudden deafness after kissing her boyfriend goodbye the day before.

"A strong kiss can cause an imbalance in air pressure between the two inner ears, thereby damaging the eardrum," Shanghai Daily explained.

Fortunately, after two months, the female patient's hearing returned to normal.

Deceptive Heart

A 2012 study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that men who are unfaithful are more likely to suffer sudden heart attacks and die. The cause may be due to the pressure to keep secrets, satisfy the needs of their mistress, and feelings of guilt.

A study in Germany also showed that most deaths during sex were men who were secretly cheating on their wives.

Death Bite

In 2016, 17-year-old Julio Macias Gonzalez (USA) suffered a stroke after his girlfriend's "love" bite caused a blood clot to travel to his brain. Despite emergency crews quickly arriving at the scene to assist, Julio did not survive.

In 2011, a 44-year-old woman in New Zealand suffered a stroke and lost the ability to move her left arm for the same reason. After examination, doctors determined that because of the bite from her lover, the patient had damaged the carotid artery, leading to paralysis.

Broken finger because of bra

In the British Journal of Plastic Surgery, surgeon Andrew Fleming (UK) recommends that all men learn how to remove women's bras after treating a 27-year-old man who broke his middle finger because he did not know how to handle this "accessory".

"While trying to remove his girlfriend's underwear, the patient got his middle finger caught in the strap and could not get it out," Dr. Fleming described. After six weeks in the hospital, the young man's hand recovered.

Loss of vision due to sex

In November 2017, after a passionate night of lovemaking, a 29-year-old man from Southampton, England, woke up unable to see out of his left eye. Doctors discovered that he had impaired vision due to bleeding in his eye.

The medical team determined that orgasm was the cause of the above condition. Specifically, during sex, the man held his breath and tensed his abdominal muscles using the Valsalva maneuver to delay the time of "climax". As a result, the retinal vein pressure was pushed up suddenly, causing the blood vessels to rupture.
