Latest news about SLNA sponsor for 2019 season

The sponsorship contract of Bac A for SLNA ended in December 2018. According to coach Nguyen Duc Thang, the Provincial People's Committee wants the Nghe An team to retain its key players and have a new step of development, so SLNA will have a new sponsorship package.

According to the investigation of Nghe An Newspaper reporters, in terms of the operating model of SLNA Football Joint Stock Company, the managing unit of SLNA Club will still be Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank. Because 10 years ago, all assets of SLNA Joint Stock Company were transferred by the Provincial People's Committee to the managing unit.

Based on the sponsorship criteria and dedication of Bac A Bank, the traditional name and symbol of Song Lam Nghe An has always been kept the same for the past 10 years and in the following years when there is a new sponsor.

According to information on the sidelines of the new sponsor, the sponsorship level for SLNA in the new season will be around 40 billion - 60 billion VND/year. All issues regarding sponsor information, sponsorship packages, and contract terms will be announced in the next few days.

In recent years, SLNA youth training has received attention and support from the People's Committee of Nghe An province with an investment of about 25 billion VND/year to maintain the source of young athletes for the province. Not long ago, General Director Nguyen Hong Thanh revealed that Bac A Bank will continue to accompany SLNA youth football with an investment of about 5 billion VND/year.

Although the contract signing process between the new sponsor and SLNA Football Joint Stock Company has not been officially announced, the Nghe An team has proactively extended contracts with a series of domestic players, called back veterans Van Binh and Quang Tinh, and tried out foreign players to prepare for V.League 2019.

If the new sponsorship package increases compared to 3 years ago, SLNA will aim to achieve high rankings in V.League 2019 and 2020.

Responding to reporters from Nghe An Newspaper, General Director Nguyen Hong Thanh shared that SLNA's goal for the 2019 season will be to enter the Top 5 of V.League instead of just staying in the league like previous seasons./.
