Discarded taxis, also known as “reformed taxis”, also have many problems that are not inferior to water-damaged cars, making them priced low but no one wants to own them. Not to mention, like water-damaged cars, “reformed” taxis are often collected by smugglers at low prices, refurbished, polished to look like new, and sold at high prices like normal cars.

Even if you know the origin and are offered at a cheap price, you should not own this type of car because with a continuous operating cycle of 5 - 8 years at full capacity, the entire car has become worn out and prone to minor breakdowns, and important parts such as the engine and gearbox have deteriorated, causing the car to consume more fuel.

Old luxury cars

It is not difficult to see German and Japanese luxury cars that are decades old being sold for cheaper than popular cars. This is considered a bargain for those who value the brand factor. However, with the characteristics of expensive cars integrating a lot of technology and equipment, very old luxury cars also have more minor errors, causing the new owner to spend a lot of money to fix with expensive service fees and spare parts, not to mention many details are not available because they have been discontinued for a long time.

If you don't want to visit the repair shop often or wait for months for replacement parts, you should skip this type of car.
