For the past year, the lives of teachers at Ly Tu Trong High School (Quynh Luu) and Cu Chinh Lan High School have been extremely difficult because they do not meet enrollment targets, their budget is increasingly tight, and their salaries are not enough to cover their living expenses. The quiet schoolyard, simple facilities, and the concerns of the school leadership team make everyone feel sad.
At Tran Dinh Phong High School (Yen Thanh), the hardship and deprivation were evident in the red eyes of the teachers when they received support gifts from the trade union. Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang - Math teacher of the school, choked up: "In the past year, teachers in the school have faced many difficulties both mentally and materially. In terms of income, the highest teacher got more than 2 million, some only a few hundred, and some months even had negative income because they had to pay more to have enough money to pay for insurance. To have enough money to live, there was no other way, we had to take on many other jobs outside such as selling online, shipping goods..."
