'Internal attack, external attack' - a dangerous trick to sabotage the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic

Along with using "black media" to post false information and distort the country's epidemic prevention and control work, they also use "internal force" tricks combined with "external attack" to sabotage us. These are massive media campaigns using the "internal attack, external provocation" tactic. On the one hand, they use opportunistic, dissatisfied, and opposing elements in the country as a mouthpiece to incite and destabilize social life. On the other hand, they use overseas media networks, foreign radio and newspaper outlets broadcasting in Vietnamese, lacking goodwill towards Vietnam, and take advantage of overseas social networking platforms to spread articles, videos, and clips thatdistorted and subversive contentin order to make it difficult for our epidemic prevention and control work.

For example, recently, a 4-minute video clip of a debate between students and a female lecturer at Duy Tan University (Da Nang) regarding the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam went viral on social media. According to the clip, this lecturer made subjective statements when distinguishing between cultures and people between Asia and Europe. In particular, in the debate on the issue of epidemic prevention and control in Vietnam, this lecturer said that "Vietnam's social security system is too poor...". After this clip went viral on social media, it attracted thousands of comments and shares. Most of them were upset with the views, perspectives and statements of the female lecturer. Immediately after that, Duy Tan University (Da Nang) fired this female lecturer for making subjective, one-sided and incorrect statements about epidemic prevention and control measures in Vietnam in the clip that went viral on social media.

Taking advantage of this incident, Facebook pages of a number of reactionary organizations and individuals abroad, including the terrorist organization "Viet Tan", posted an article "University lecturer who told the truth was fired", fabricating that: "Public opinion is very upset about the university's decision to fire the female lecturer"andthink so is "very unfairThen the author of this article confusedly statedquestion“When a teacher stands on the podium and speaks and shares the truth with students but is banned and then fired, who knows where the education sector will go?”

The website "Viet Tan" regularly has articles against Vietnam.

In the context of the complicated developments of the epidemic, our Party, State and people are standing shoulder to shoulder, working together to control the Covid-19 pandemic soon, with dark intentions, the subjects of the terrorist organization "Viet Tan" spend time scrutinizing the limitations, difficulties, negative manifestations, and ugly images in social life during the epidemic that have been criticized by the domestic press to make topics to exaggerate, distort, and misrepresent the nature of the problem in order to defame the Party, State and regime, and incite people.

Notably, the content of this post not only contains biased, unverified opinions about the incident, but also links to a BBC article titled:“Covid-19: US Senate passes $1.9 trillion relief plan”.With the collusion and coordination from abroad, hostile and reactionary forces have taken advantage of the opportunity to praise the model of Western countries to attack Vietnam. At the same time, they have sought to connect and attract opposing elements within the country, plotting to carry out the "internal attack, external attack" tactic to sabotage the Party and State of Vietnam, hindering the work of preventing and fighting the pandemic in the country. Under this post, many opportunistic and politically dissatisfied elements within the country have also joined in, "following the flow". This is a typical case that clearly demonstrates the "internal attack, external attack" tactic of hostile and reactionary forces.

More than ever, every cadre and party member needs to be extremely alert, clearly identify, and at the same timeproactively fightrefute and defeat this extremely dangerous trick. On the other hand, it is necessary to step up propaganda and provide timely official information to the people. Mastering information is the best premise and condition for us to orient public opinion, raise awareness and consciousness to help people raise their vigilance, not fall into the traps of, and assist bad guys, and at the same time actively participate in the fight to repel bad and toxic information aimed at opposing the Party and the State, directly in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The case of a female lecturer at Duy Tan University (Da Nang) who went online to give lectures distorting the developments of the situation and the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam is clearly a manifestation of a very serious degradation in the qualities and ethics of a teacher. Public opinion hopes that, in addition to being administratively handled, the authorities need to investigate, clarify and possibly handle this case criminally according to the 2015 Law on Cyber ​​Security and the 2017 Penal Code./.
