“Following in the footsteps” of her mother and husband, a woman went to prison for drug charges
(Baonghean.vn) - The mobile trial in Dien Ky commune, where the defendant's mother and husband are serving prison sentences for the same crime of illegal drug trafficking, attracted a large number of people to attend.

According to the indictment, the defendant Nguyen Thi Hang (born in 1992), residing in village 7, Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district, bought 4 million VND worth of drugs from Dien Hong commune and divided them into 40 small packages to sell retail for profit.
After the drug user was arrested by Dien Chau District Police, he confessed that the drug supplier was Hang.
Immediately afterwards, the District Police conducted an emergency search of Nguyen Thi Hang's house and discovered and seized 1.2 grams of drugs hidden under the floor.
Dien Chau District People's Court sentenced the defendant to 30 months in prison.
