Nghe An farmers compete in using computers and the internet
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 26, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized the contest "Farmers learn and use computers and the internet" in 2019.
The contest had 38 contestants from 19 communes implementing the project "Improving the capacity to use computers, smartphones and the internet for union members and farmers" in the two districts of Dien Chau and Do Luong.

This is an activity of the project "Improving the capacity to use computers, smartphones and the internet for union members and farmers" in 2019.
The contest consists of two parts. The theoretical part (multiple choice test) demonstrates general knowledge about computers, smartphones and the internet. The practical part (using a computer) is text editing; sending and receiving emails; skills in searching for information on the internet; reading electronic newspapers...

Through the contest, the aim is to create an information technology playground to encourage and promote the movement of learning, working and healthy entertainment for members of the Farmers' Club with the Internet. At the same time, promote creativity, desire to learn and maintain the activities of Farmers' Clubs with offline Internet; improve knowledge, skills in using, sharing information and experience in using computers, smartphones and the Internet.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize and a prize worth 1.5 million VND to contestant Le Van Thang (Thuong Son commune, Do Luong district); the second prize and a prize worth 1 million VND to contestant Chu Thi Thuy (Dien Thap commune, Dien Chau district)...

After 2 years of implementing the project, the Provincial Farmers' Association has built 19 Internet Farmer Clubs with 499 members in Dien Chau and Do Luong districts. Through the clubs, it has created a spread, helping a large number of farmer members in these two districts to access, use and exploit information on computers, smartphones, and the Internet to apply to production and life.
