Tan Ky farmers earn 100 million VND/month from dairy cows

(Baonghean.vn)- For the past two years, farmers in Nghia Dong and Nghia Hop (Tan Ky) have been promoting dairy farming at home. With just 8 milking cows, a household can earn 60 million VND/month. Some households have increased their herds to 50 cows.

Ms. Le Thi Luong, Hamlet 3, Nghia Hop, is milking cows to send to the milk factory in Nghia Dan. She starts milking at 5 pm and finishes at 7 pm. Then, at 2 am, she gets up again to continue milking. Her family currently has 22 dairy cows, 8 of which give milk. Her family's daily milk output is 1.5 quintals. Every week, she receives 15 million VND from the factory for milk.
