Female student suspected of participating with her sister in murdering her brother-in-law

Police suspect a 21-year-old female student participated with her sister in the murder of her brother-in-law.

On August 8, Quang Tri Provincial Police are detaining two sisters, Ho Thi Lan (37 years old) and Ho Thi Nan (21 years old, both residing in A Xing commune, Huong Hoa district) to investigate the act of murder.

On the morning of August 7, the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes (PC45) of Quang Tri Provincial Police received a report of a murder in A Xing commune and sent an investigation force to investigate.

Through autopsy and crime scene examination, the task force said that Mr. Ho Van Hon (38 years old, residing in A Xing commune) was murdered right in his bed.

With the traces and evidence believed to be related, the same afternoon, the police urgently arrested Ho Thi Lan (Mr. Hon's wife) and Ho Thi Nan (Lan's sister).

At the investigation agency, Lan confessed that due to conflicts in their relationship, she asked her younger brother to kill her brother-in-law. At night, taking advantage of the time when Mr. Hon was sleeping soundly, the female suspects used a stick and a hammer to repeatedly hit the victim in the head, causing Mr. Hon's death.

Nan is currently a student at a local college. Victim Hon is a cadre at A Xing commune.
