Russian President Vladimir Putin sang the national anthem and gave an impressive speech to 130,000 people attending an event supporting his bid for a fourth presidential term.

According toSputnik, about 130,000 people gathered at Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow on March 3 for President Putin's meeting with voters who support his re-election in the upcoming election on March 18. Mr. Putin appeared at the event and gave an impressive speech.
“We have a coherent, clear and noble goal. We want our country to be brilliant, to be a future-oriented country because our ancestors lived here, we live here, our children will live here. We will do everything to make them happy. No one can do this for us except ourselves. And if we do this, we will go through the 21st century with the greatest victory. We can do it,” Putin told the crowd.
The Russian president recalled the proud singing of the Russian national anthem by the Russian ice hockey team after winning the gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. Putin called on his supporters to sing along with pride in being Russian.
Earlier, a source familiar with the Kremlin said that Mr. Putin's election team would soon release documents on his economic and political plans in the next few days.
Meanwhile, the non-governmental organization Public Opinion (FOM) released the results of a survey showing that about 60% of respondents support Mr. Putin's re-election. FOM believes that Mr. Putin's support rate could reach 80% in the upcoming election.
The Russian election is scheduled for March 18. Mr. Putin registered for re-election as an independent candidate and he has seven opponents in the race to become Russia's commander-in-chief.
