"The Veliky Novgorod city administration contacted us and through an interpreter informed us that, according to the instructions of President Vladimir Putin, we would be given tickets to the next match of the Argentine team in St. Petersburg... In a stroke of luck, the match we missed ended in a 0:3 defeat for the Argentine team, and we finally got to see the historic match. We witnessed Messi's victory!" - "Komsomolskaya Pravda" quoted two football fans.
In St. Petersburg, the Argentine players won 2: 1 against the Nigerian team. One of the goals was scored by Lionel Messi, thanks to which Argentina entered the next round and will meet the French team.
