Trump invites Putin to visit Washington in the fall
US President Donald Trump invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Washington this fall, US presidential spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said.

"In Helsinki, the President agreed to continue the ongoing dialogue at the working level between the security council staffs of the two countries. President Trump asked John Bolton to invite President Putin to visit Washington in the fall. Discussions on this are underway," Sarah Sanders wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, the White House chief said he looked forward to a new meeting with the Russian president.
At the second meeting, Trump hopes to discuss counterterrorism, Israel's security, nuclear non-proliferation, cyber attacks, economic cooperation, Ukraine, peace in the Middle East, North Korea and other topics.
The US head also noted that relations with Russia are important for the United States and the world, and said that Moscow and Washington should find an opportunity to cooperate.
