Trump will not give in to Putin on Ukraine
Trump's special envoy to Ukraine said Trump wants to save Ukraine, but has no intention of making concessions to President Putin.

According to RIA Novosti, Keith Kellogg, special envoy for Ukraine in the incoming Trump administration, said on January 8 that the US President-elect has no plans to make concessions to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the issue of resolving the Ukraine conflict.
“It’s important to understand that he’s not trying to give anything to Putin or the Russians,” Kellogg told Fox News. “He really wants to save Ukraine and its sovereignty.”
According to the special envoy, President-elect Trump intends to seek a solution to the conflict on “fair and honest” terms. He expressed confidence that the president-elect will soon find a way to resolve the conflict through negotiations with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine: Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky.
Special envoy Kellogg also called outgoing US President Joe Biden's biggest mistake was refusing to talk to the Russian leader to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Earlier, speaking at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump said that he understood Russia's stance against Ukraine becoming a member of NATO. In addition, the US President-elect said that he knew that leader Putin was ready to contact him, but this was unacceptable before Mr. Trump officially returned to the White House. The US President-elect added that he could not yet specify a date for official contact with the Russian President.
Mr Trump has pledged that he can reach a negotiated solution to the Ukraine conflict. He has repeatedly said he could solve the problem in a day.
