Mr. Vi Van Son: Actively building the district in the direction of ecological urban areas

(Baonghean)-Mr. Vi Van Son- Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Cuong district; candidate for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016 - 2021 term at constituency No. 18, Con Cuong district.

I am very pleased to be nominated as a candidate for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term and I am always aware that it is a great honor, but also a heavy responsibility. Faced with the requirements and tasks of local and national development in the new era and the aspirations of voters, I am required to make every effort to fulfill my duties as an elected representative.

If I am trusted by voters, I will strive to complete the following key tasks:

Firstly: I will work with the Provincial People's Council to be more active and determined to find breakthroughs to help Nghe An continue to develop with specific and synchronous solutions; join with the Provincial People's Council to have more dynamic decisions to seek more investment sources for the province, exploiting the advantages and potential of the locality.

Second: Together with the Provincial People's Council, actively organize the supervision of administrative reform at all levels, in order to minimize inconvenience for people, businesses and investors, creating an open environment for development. Pay attention to solutions to improve the quality of education, career guidance, vocational training; the quality of medical examination and treatment for people; solutions to solve food hygiene and safety issues, environmental protection; social security policies, policies for people with meritorious services, poverty reduction, etc.

Third: With the goal of taking quality, socio-economic efficiency and ecological environment protection as the top goals, building Con Cuong into an ecological town according to the province's orientation, I will focus on the following issues:

- Focus on removing difficulties in production and business development, in job creation, and in building socio-economic infrastructure; specifically: Building a number of production models with high economic value; gathering and uniting businesses and business households in the area to orient investment and development; increasing investment attraction in areas where the district has advantages; making the most of resources to complete a number of traffic works, irrigation works, electricity and water systems serving daily life, production in the area and urban infrastructure.

- Focus on State management of natural resources and environment, with a focus on strengthening direction of environmental sanitation; forest protection management; land management...

- Closely follow the Project to build Con Cuong district into an ecological urban town; focusing on directing the survey and making a general plan for the town.

- Focus on building new rural areas in a sustainable direction, with emphasis on completing the criteria for new rural villages and communes that have registered to finish in the 2015 - 2020 period.

- Pay attention to cultural and social fields, ensure social security; improve the quality of education and training, remove difficulties in staffing and teacher contracts; strengthen the direction of health care activities for people; focus on the quality of cultural movements; preserve and promote the cultural identity of ethnic groups.

- Focus on domestic border security; pay attention to local military defense; direct the handling of some existing problems in social order and safety such as: drug abuse, lottery, black credit, theft... Timely grasp the public opinion situation, focus on resolving pressing issues, conflicts, and arising issues among the people, building a safe and developed area.

Fourth: If I am elected by voters as a representative of the Provincial People's Council this time, I promise to uphold my responsibility, maintain the moral qualities of a cadre, be close to the people, strive to fulfill the role of a representative of the people, and be active in the fight against negative social phenomena.
