Sleeper bus crashes into house, 5 people injured
A bus on the North-South route suddenly crashed into a house in Quang Ngai, sending the homeowner and four others to the hospital.
Early morning of July 10, driver Phung Quoc Lam drove a sleeper bus carrying 44 passengers on National Highway 1A, heading South - North. When reaching Pho Cuong commune, Duc Pho district (Quang Ngai), the car suddenly crashed into the house of Mr. Nguyen Van Hai (76 years old) and flipped over.

The strong collision collapsed the concrete wall, crushing Mr. Hai and many others.Furniture was thrown everywhere. Dozens of passengers panicked and cried for help in the badly damaged car.
Many people around dug through the rubble to bring the injured Mr. Hai out. They also used crowbars, hammers, and wooden sticks to break the car doors to rescue the passengers. Among them, the driver Lam and 3 others were injured.
Quang Ngai Traffic Police have processed the scene and are investigating the cause of the accident. The passengers on the bus were picked up by another car and continued their journey.
