Successfully cracked a case of stealing property from a safe

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 11, the provincial police leaders and the People's Committee of Tan Ky district awarded the 135K Project Team of Tan Ky district police for their successful discovery of a case of theft of property in a safe.

Previously, from February to November 2015, in Tan Ky district, there were 9 cases of breaking into people's houses to break into safes and steal property. The total stolen property included 140.5 taels of 24K gold, 1 tael of western gold, nearly 100 million VND, 300 USD, 1 Iphone 5 mobile phone, 1 4S mobile phone.

Faced with that situation, the leaders of Tan Ky District Police promptly directed the Criminal Investigation Police Team on criminal - economic - drug crimes to establish a special case coded 315K. After a period of persistent investigation, screening and verification, on November 4, 2015, Tan Ky District Police successfully broke up the case, arresting a gang of two subjects Thai Tien Sy (born in 1974) residing in block 7, Dau Lieu ward, Hong Linh town (Ha Tinh) and Tran Van Nhan (born in 1979) residing at house number 18, Dao Tan street, block 11, Quang Trung ward (Vinh city).

At the police station, the suspects confessed that they, along with Tran Thanh Cang (born in 1978), residing in Ben Nom 1 Hamlet, Phu Cuong Commune, Dinh Quan District (Dong Nai), successfully carried out 4 thefts of property in safes in Tan Ky District from March 2015 to May 2015. In addition, they also committed a number of other thefts in several localities inside and outside the province such as Nghia Dan District, Quy Hop District (Nghe An) and Thach Ha District (Ha Tinh).
