(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 19, before going to Hanoi to join the team, Phan Van Duc was awarded 100 million VND in Nghe An.
Growing up from the Youth Football Tournament of Nghe An Newspaper Cup, Phan Van Duc always showed stable performance, effective and fluid playing style in the squad of Song Lam Nghe An Club. Shining in the U23 Asian Cup Finals with a "survival ticket", Van Duc became the trump card of Coach Park Hang-seo.

With 2 goals and 4 assists in the AFF Cup 2018, the 22-year-old versatile striker from Nghe An was honored by Fox Sport Asia as one of the 4 best players in the first leg of the AFF Cup 2018 semi-finals. He was also voted the best player in the match between Vietnam and the Philippines.
For his contributions to the AFF Cup 2018, Phan Van Duc was awarded 100 million VND by Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation. On the afternoon of December 19, the award ceremony was held in Vinh city.
