Launching a journalism contest on the topic of Agent Orange/dioxin

The content of the entries reflects the consequences of the chemical warfare caused by the US in Vietnam, the problems in the daily lives of the victims, and the examples and situations of overcoming difficulties to rise up in life.

Before launching in 6 provinces in the North Central region, the contest was launched in Hanoi on May 26, 2020.
Speaking at the contest, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Rinh - President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Dioxin/Poisonous Agents stated: The war has ended 45 years ago, but more than 3 million Vietnamese people still suffer from the consequences of war. Agent Orange has caused many children born in peacetime to have deformities and deformities.

The content of the work reflects the disastrous consequences of the chemical warfare conducted by the US in Vietnam, the problems in the lives of victims; examples of overcoming difficulties to rise up in life; the work of supporting, caring for, helping and protecting victims of Agent Orange by authorities at all levels and organizations...
The types of journalism considered for awards include print and electronic newspapers with genres such as reflection, interview, recording, commentary, reportage, memoir, and investigation. The works must ensure authenticity and objectivity.

Journalistic works participating in the award must not exceed 1,500 words and must be used by news agencies and newspapers from January 1, 2020 to March 30, 2021.
Time to receive works from January 1, 2020 to March 30, 2021 at the address: Vietnam Agent Orange Magazine, No. 35 Ho Me Tri Street, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi. Each author can submit up to 3 works.
