(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 29, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union and the Provincial Agencies' Bloc Youth Union held a launching ceremony for the Contest "Ideas and initiatives for digital transformation in state agency activities" in 2022.

Implementing the Action Program of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee on implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU dated December 14, 2021 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on promoting administrative reform in Nghe An province for the period 2021 - 2030 and responding to the Program "One million ideas- Efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Civil Servants' Trade Union and the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union jointly organized the Contest "Ideas and initiatives for digital transformation in State agency activities" in 2022.
The goal of the contest is to arouse the dynamism and creativity of each cadre, civil servant and public employee in their work to propose ideas and initiatives in performing tasks, solving specific problems, bringing practical benefits to digital transformation, e-government, administrative reform, to the community and society.

Accordingly, the Party, mass organizations, associations, and State management agencies need to focus on innovating working processes, improving the quality and efficiency of advisory work, administrative reform, publicity, transparency, simplification, and shortening the time to handle administrative procedures for people and businesses. At the same time, widely apply information technology in operations; build civilized and modern agencies and units.
The public service sector focuses on innovating organizational methods, improving the effectiveness of research work, training quality; service quality, and business efficiency; advising and making suggestions to improve autonomy, advanced management, and providing increasingly high-quality public service.
“On this occasion, I also suggest that grassroots unions mobilize union officials to actively respond to initiatives, creativity, and innovative solutions in union organization and operation to participate in the Nguyen Van Linh Award. The award is reserved for union officials at all levels, and is awarded every 5 years on the founding day of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28). Unions and grassroots unions coordinate to organize activities in response to Workers' Month 2022, with the theme: Solidarity, creativity, overcoming difficulties and development. Be proactive and creative in choosing activities suitable for your unit, aiming to improve the material and spiritual life of union members. That will create a vibrant, joyful, exciting and united atmosphere, contributing to promoting the creative labor movement to achieve results”.
The Civil Servants' Union and the Provincial Agencies' Union call on each agency and unit to have at least 1 idea.contest entry.

After this launching ceremony, the grassroots trade union will closely coordinate to have practical activities with widespread influence to make the program and competition successful. Thereby, contributing to arousing the will to be self-reliant and the desire to rise up in each cadre, civil servant and public employee to proactively innovate and be creative in their work, contributing to promoting Nghe An to develop quickly and sustainably.
