Illegal laughing gas business discovered in Vinh city
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 8, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (Nghe An Police) said that it is completing documents to strictly handle the business establishment of N2O gas (laughing gas), causing disorder in the area.
Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order discovered a number of types of services disguised as food and beverage businesses to organize for customers to use stimulants that are not allowed to be sold according to regulations.
Through inspection, the police discovered that the FIEU CLUB (address 18H, An Duong Vuong Street, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City) had many signs of violations in business activities such as using loud music and selling N2O gas (laughing gas) for customers to use.
At 11:40 p.m. on February 3, 2024, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order mobilized a working group to conduct a surprise inspection of the FIEU CLUB bar.
At the time of inspection, the working group discovered that this business establishment was using loud music and selling N2O gas (laughing balloons) for customers to use, specifically 30/130 customers were using laughing balloons. N2O gas is a substance restricted from production and trading in the industrial sector, not for entertainment purposes.
The business of N2O gas has been admitted by the owner and related people to be a violation of the law. The working group has drawn up a record and seized the exhibits, including 4 used N2O gas cylinders and 191 used laughing gas balloons. The above administrative violations have no invoices or documents.
Currently, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order is completing the dossier to strictly handle it according to the provisions of law.
