On the afternoon of December 4, Quang Binh police completed the excavation and examination at a resident's house on Truong Chinh Street, Bac Ly Ward (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh), where a human skeleton was discovered buried under a cement floor.
Authorities found a complete human skeleton about 30cm below the floor, with a large piece of the skull broken. The skeleton was determined to be that of a man, dead for 2-5 years, with intact pants, a shirt wrapped around the neck and a T-shirt underneath.
The location where the remains were discovered was previously used as a motel, then converted into a coffee shop and rented by many people over the years.
Late in the afternoon of December 3, while digging the ground to renovate the house, workers discovered part of a foot bone and a trouser leg and reported it to the authorities.
Currently, construction has been suspended and the remains have been buried by the homeowner.
